It’s the heart of magic season in Bellevue. The shopping is done and now it’s time to celebrate the season with family and friends. The week from Christmas to New Year in Bellevue is filled with fun, from ice skating to Snowflake Lane to Garden d’Lights, and with these inside tips you can plan the perfect evening to enjoy Bellevue’s Magic Season with your loved ones.
Snowflake Lane Transforms to Celebration Lane
Bellevue’s Snowflake Lane is a must see this holiday season right up until Christmas Eve. It’s the one holiday spectacle where snow is guaranteed. Live toy soldier drummers line the streets as animated snow characters, spirited music, snowflakes and glittering lights ignite the night. Celebration lane begins December 26th and continues through New Year’s Eve. It is a glittering salute to the New Year with lights, dancing, drummers, characters and exciting music while festive bubbles fall from the sky. Make an evening of it, and bring the family to Cypress located in The Westin Bellevue Hotel for a cozy dinner before the big show. Treat yourself to a glass of wine and the kids to a piping hot cocoa with marshmallows and cookies on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through December. If a craft cocktail is more up your alley, stop in at Palamino Restaurant and Bar after Snowflake Lane for an Old Fashioned or a Hibiscus Martini. For a quick pit stop, visit the Lodge for an Eggnog latte from Starbucks or fresh squeezed juice from Evolution Fresh, or visit FROST at Lincoln Square for a sweet selection of freshly made doughnuts and cupcakes.
Magic Season Ice Arena
Looking to show off your moves on the ice? Bellevue’s Magic Season Ice Arena is open through January 10 from 10am until 11pm unless reserved (check the online schedule here.)
