Bellevue is one of the most festive cities in America, with so many things to do during the holiday season!

Our premier Pacific Northwest destination takes the holiday season to the next level with spectacular light displays, magical nightly parades and other can’t-miss festivities. There are also multiple places in Bellevue to get your Santa photos! With a diverse collection of free and affordable winter activities for all ages, Bellevue is the perfect place to plan your bespoke winter vacation.


Snowflake Lane

November 29 – December 24, 2019
7 PM nightly
Complete with a professionally choreographed parade and a spectacular light show, The Bellevue Collection’s Snowflake Lane brings magic and joy to Bellevue every night at 7p.m. Colorful floats, snow princesses, toy drummers—and of course, Santa Claus—wind their way through Bellevue with song and dance as snow falls from the sky! Free


Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink

November 29 – January 20, 2020
Hours Vary
Glide and twirl through the region’s largest open-air ice-skating experience at the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink, presented by Symetra. From November 29 – January 20, 2020, you can enjoy this 23-year old holiday tradition in a covered rink, which allows for all-weather skating and plenty of special events throughout the season. $10-$15


Garden d’Lights

November 30 – December 31
4:30-9 PM nightly
Everything shines brighter when you’re at the Garden d’Lights festival, held at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, especially when over a half-million lights are used to transform the garden into a beautiful winter oasis. There is even live music some of the nights. $5


Holiday Lights at the Bravern

Stroll around The Bravern, now beautifully illuminated for the holiday season. You can explore the Northwest’s only Neiman Marcus, as well as other designer brands like Gucci and Prada. Savor award-winning cuisine by celebrated chefs or connect with friends around one of the outdoor fireplaces. 


The Nutcracker

Bellevue’s premier ballet company, International Ballet Theatre, is celebrating its 19th anniversary of The Nutcracker in Bellevue, with opening night on Friday, December 13th. The cast of experienced dancers, visual performers, and young artists are ready to wow the crowd with dazzling costumes, brilliant sets, beautiful choreography, and The Nutcracker’s original European flavor.


Christmas Ship Festival

December 15, 7:30 – 9 PM, Newcastle Beach Park
December 21, 7 – 8PM, Meydenbauer Bay Park
Head to the shores of Lake Washington and welcome the Christmas Ship Festival presented by Argosy Cruises. There will be a parade of illuminated boats that come by the beach, caroling and beach fire! FREE


Holiday Entertainment at Bellevue Square

Bellevue Square Center Court
Bellevue Square will be hosting school choirs, vocal ensembles, and multi-cultural musical performances this holiday season at various times and dates! FREE

Downtown Woodinville
Woodinville’s Winterfest features a festive tree lighting, a race, and Santa photos, with enjoy live music, seasonal activities, and treats.

‘Twas the Night is a holiday musical that takes on the classic holiday poem, and, is now in its 19th year.

Issaquah Reindeer Festival

Cougar Mountain Zoo
The Annual Issaquah Reindeer Festival at Cougar Mountain Zoo features face painting, stories from one of Santa’s elves and the opportunity to feed Santa’s other animals and meet his kittens and his Candy Cane makers.

Enchant Christmas

Back for its second year, this spectacular maze of lights returns, with an ice-skating rink, food, drinks, and a Christmas market!

Snow Day SLU

Denny Park
South Lake Union’s Snow Day is a free, nightly event, complete with a beer garden, food trucks, crafts for kids, and a snow globe photo booth.
